Toby's Old Tramway was Toby's original home before he came to work on the North Western Railway.
History
Toby's old line was located somewhere in East Anglia, England. The railway ran through farms past fields and villages, ending at a station where the line junctions with the main line to London and elsewhere. Toby, with his coach Henrietta and luggage van Elsie, used to work on the railway delivering goods from the farms to the junction or other stations, starting around or shortly after 1939 when he stopped working at the harbour he used to live at with his brothers. The line also took passengers. Some time during the early 1950s, Toby's line went bankrupt, due to the lorries and buses taking over most of the work. When the line closed, Toby, Henrietta and Elsie were sold to the Fat Controller to assist Thomas with trains on the quarry line.
