Tomix (Japanese: トミックス) is a range of N-scale model trains made by Tomytec, a subsidiary of Tomy. This range was discontinued in 2012, but it revived in 2016.

Trivia

• Thomas (released in 1998) marked the first of few things:
  • The world's first N-scale Thomas.
  • First time flywheel was mounted on Tomix N-scale model.
• Thomas and James' gearbox has been improved several times.
• Percy is the only engine for which alternate faces are supplied.
• Gordon was planned, but it was canceled. However, the product announcement was published in Tomix catalogue from 2001 to 2013.
• In the re-release in 2016, facial sculptures were updated to resemble the newer CGI Series of Thomas & Friends.
