Push Along, formerly known as TrackMaster Push Along is a Thomas & Friends die-cast toy range produced by Fisher-Price and the successor to the Adventures range. The design of the engines and vehicles is similar to Adventures, but with wider chassis that fit on TrackMaster/Motorized track and couplings that attach to TrackMaster/Motorized vehicles.

In 2020, the range dropped the "TrackMaster" title to simply be "Push Along", following the release of Motorized, the successor to TrackMaster in order to fit Mattel's new, simpler marketing rebranding of the toy lines. Much like all current Thomas toy lines, the models aim to reproduce a design aesthetic based on the CGI series despite running alongside the reboot.

Trivia

  • Some items were on shelves in late 2018.
  • All engines have four to six wheels, and the wheels on each model (including the tenders) are all the same size.
  • All tenders are made of plastic, share the same four-wheel chassis, and have buffers located on the wrong side.
  • Engines with a tender have their back couplings raised higher than the singular Push Alongs, making it difficult for models from the Adventures range to couple to their rear coupler.
    • This can be avoided by having a singular Push Along sit between the Adventures model and Push Along tender engine.
  • All the larger engines have longer chassis than the smaller engines.
  • Because all models share the same wheel diameter, Emily, Jack, Kevin, and Rajiv's models lack their larger wheels.
  • The promo used for Rosie's packaging is an edited promo of her lavender livery to look like her current red livery since she still has her lip gloss, blush, and she is missing her headlamp.
  • Rajiv's model has bronze wheels and lacks his crown along with the banners from his funnel to the cab roof.
  • Most of the early sets use rolling stock from the Motorized Railway range. TrackMaster-style rolling stock would be featured in later packs.
  • Although the models were redesigned to fit on the post-2014 TrackMaster track, they can still fit on Adventures/Take-n-Play/Take Along track as well as Wooden Railway/Wood and Tomy/Motor Road and Rail/original TrackMaster tracks.
  • Harold's model is simply a re-release of the 2013 Take-n-Play/2017 Adventures model without noticeable changes. It is also dated 2013 on the bottom.
  • Jack's model is missing the number 11 on his sides. Unlike most modern diecasts, he is held together by screws.
  • Ester's model has limited shovel movement compared to the likes of Alfie and Oliver.
  • James' black livery model has his window cutout painted blue.
  • Toby's model has openings on his side plates despite the fact each other toy before has the side plates conceal the wheels in some way or another. His back is also unpainted.
  • In a prototype, as well as the box for the Motorized "All Around Sodor Deluxe Set", shows Emily's model (one of the many extras included in the set) with number 12 on her tender, following its acquisition in Emily to the Rescue. It would have been the first piece of merchandise to depict Emily with her number after gaining it in Series 24. However, Emily did not receive her 12 until late 2020 in her own single release.
  • Some early listings incorrectly referred to the line as part of the Adventures range.
  • Sonny's model reuses Thomas's footplate, and there is a noticeable gap under his smokebox, much like with Hong Mei's Adventures model.
  • As of late 2020/early 2021, newer engines in the range now have painted pupils, similar to the ones in the Wood and Motorized ranges. The engines also have their respective names printed on their chassis in white, which is very similar vehicles in the Wooden Railway line.
  • Since January of 2021, the engines don't come with tenders, perhaps due to budgeting.
