Main Page

There are many tractors on Sodor, owned by farmers. They are used for agriculture or for hauling big loads, like hay or wool.

Tractors have appeared frequently in the Railway Series and the television series.

Basis

The cab-less tractors are based on Ford 5000s tractors. Willie's tractor is another member of this class. The cab tractors are based on Ford 7810s.

Livery

Tractors are painted blue, red, and orange. They mostly have red wheels, while others have the same coloured wheels as their bodies.

Trivia

A tractor's model is currently on display at Drayton Manor.
In the Railway Series books, Tramway Engines and Small Railway Engines, tractors were seen with faces.
