The Railway Series

Main Page

This page is for the tractors that have appeared in The Railway Series.

Notable Tractors

The following tractors have their own separate pages:

Ford Tractors

The Ford Tractors are used for ploughing fields and hauling trailers. The trailers carry farm products, such as hay bales and wool and are delivered to markets.

Trevor mentioned to Edward that he has worked with young tractors, who are known to give up and breakdown, while Trevor on the other hand would struggle on and finish the job regardless if he was ill. When Trevor was saved from scrap by The Vicar, sometimes Jem Cole would borrow Trevor if a tractor failed.

James once had to shunt a goods train of these tractors on well wagons. Two of the well wagons were later involved in an accident, where they found themselves travelling sideways across the points and knocking a signal over.[1]
