Travels with Terence is the fourteenth episode of the third series of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.

Plot

When Terence breaks his trye tread, Thomas takes him to get fixed and explore some of the island. But Terence's off-track energy isn't quite fit for more orderly places.

  • The plot is similar to the original series episode, Thomas and Skarloey's Big Day Out.
  • This is the first episode of three things:
    • The first All Engines Go episode in which Percy, Riff and Jiff appear, but do not speak.
    • The first episode written by Amber Harris.
    • The first episode since the original series episode, Gordon and Rebecca, Coming Through! in where Percy appears, but does not speak.
  • This is the only episode of four things:
    • Farona, Riff and Jiff's only appearances in the third series.
    • Percy and Kana's only non-speaking roles in the third series.
    • The only episode in the third series to be written by Amber Harris.
    • The only episode in the third series in where Farona and Frederico are seen together.
  • Sandy's heart model from the second series episode, Valentine's Hearts reappears. She also recreates her "heartbroken" joke from said episode.

Goofs

  • When Terence spots Diesel at Knapford, there is a second Diesel layered behind him.
  • Terence's valve is missing when he and Thomas leave Knapford.
  • Salty is seen passing Knapford and Emily is seen at Knapford, and when Terence goes to say hi to Diesel, they are seen again.
