Trevor Helps Out is a magazine story.
Plot[]
One day, Harold flies over the vicarage orchard and decides to land and talk to Trevor. Harold ends up teasing Trevor for being so old-fashioned and asking if he would like to be up-to-date like him. Trevor politely states he is happy being himself and Harold just scoffs as he flies away, claiming Trevor is only good at giving rides. Jem Cole tells Trevor to just ignore Harold.
When Harold returns to his airfield, his pilot spots that a large tree has fallen down nearby and Harold's propellers could get jammed if he tries to land. Harold turns back to the orchard and informs Trevor and Jem about the tree. A saw bench is loaded into Harold and Trevor sets off, slowly but surely.
Once Trevor arrives, Jem cuts down the tree and chains are attached to the trunk which Trevor pulls away. Harold is able to safely land and the saw bench is attached to Trevor so the tree can be cut into smaller logs. Harold thanks Trevor and the two become friends.
