Trouble for Trevor! is a magazine story.
Plot[]
Trevor usually spends the winter in his shed which makes him sad. One day, Edward passes the orchard to chat with Trevor. Edward claims he has not seen Trevor that sad since they met in the scrapyard. Trevor sighs and says he is likely to end up there again. Edward is shocked but Trevor explains that when his driver came to start him the other day, he was rusty and could not move.
Edward thinks Trevor's driver is likely going to clean his gears and give them a good oiling. Trevor is not sure what oil could do but Edward explains all metal parts need oil to stop them from seizing up.
Trevor's driver returns the next day and soaks Trevor's rusted parts in oil. Once he is put back together again, Trevor feels like a brand new traction engine and happily gives children rides at the summer fête.
