Vicarstown Yards is a large shunting yard in Vicarstown, located just south of the station. Rosie works here.
History[]
Thomas & Friends[]
In the third series, Vicarstown Yards is managed by the Other Railway and is the changeover point for the North Western Railway. At the station next to the yard, Douglas was briefly stopped by the foreman while helping Oliver and Toad escape from scrap.[1]
In Journey Beyond Sodor, James arrived here to take Henry's goods train to the Mainland when the latter was unable to do so after an accident, however, he was informed by Rosie that Thomas took the train instead.[2]
In the twenty-third series, Vicarstown Yards reappeared in full when Rebecca delivered a train of trucks to the yard.[3]
