Biography[]
When Ulfstead was snowed under by the previous night's blizzard, Thomas, Percy, Terence and Harold were sent with some workmen to clear away the snow and drop off food for the village. The grateful villagers congratulated the team and called them "The Best Santa Claus the village has ever had". That night, after Thomas and Percy puffed home, the villagers made a plan to thank the engines and after loading paint pots and parcels onboard Henrietta, Toby silently took them to Tidmouth Sheds, where they decorated and repainted the sheds and left the parcels with a Christmas tree.

One Christmas, Thomas and Toby delivered a Christmas tree and food to the grateful villagers to their village for their Christmas feast.

The Mountain Village Villagers[]
The Mountain Village Villagers live at the Mountain Village on the Skarloey Railway.
Biography[]
During Winter, the Skarloey Railway engines are given the job to deliver coal to the Mountain Village to keep the villagers' houses snug and warm. One day, Skarloey broke the winch at the coal yard in an attempt to prove he is brave, and he had to deliver the coal to the villagers himself in a fit of redemption. When Skarloey arrived at Mountain Village Station, the grateful villagers cheer for him in gratitude for delivering the coal to their village.

The Festival Market Town Villagers live at Suddery.
Biography[]
During Harvest Festival Season, the villagers set up stalls to sell their produce and the breads and cakes, made by the flour delivered by James, for the children's harvest festival supper.
Later at Christmastime, Thomas delivered a Christmas tree to the village for the villagers' party, where the Fat Controller switched on its lights.
