The Walney Channel is a large body of water separating the eastern coast of the Island of Sodor from the Mainland.
The Vicarstown Bridge is the only bridge across the channel, and is owned by the North Western Railway. The Vicarstown Lighthouse is also situated on the shore of the channel.
