Wellsworth Crossing is a level crossing situated between Wellsworth and Gordon's Hill on the Main Line. Suddery Junction is nearby.
History[]
Lorry 3 once broke down on the crossing due to being overloaded with flour.[1] At a later date, Toad broke the crossing gates after the Troublesome Trucks broke away from Oliver on Gordon's Hill.[2]
The Hot Air Balloon once crash landed on top of James here while he and Thomas were waiting for George to cross.[3]
When Arthur first came to Sodor, he had his first accident here when his vans of fruit ran into Duck, who was stopped at the crossing.[4]
The crossing appears to have since been closed and has now been replaced by a nearby bridge which carries the railway over a new road underneath. The abandoned crossing gates are still in situ, however the roads leading to them are now gone.[5]
